    Sexual advice is available at Hall Green Health with our nurses.

    Patients can get free condoms from reception by asking for “a purple bag”.

    Patients can also get a free STI self testing kit from reception by asking for “a brown box”.

  • Sexual health for gay and bisexual men

    Having unprotected penetrative sex is the most likely way to pass on a sexually transmitted infection (STI).

    Using a condom helps protect against HIV and lowers the risk of getting many other STIs.

    The National Sexual Health Helpline provided by Public Health England is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 8pm.

  • Umbrella

    They provide free, accessible and confidential sexual health services in Birmingham and Solihull, including all types of contraception, and STI testing and treatment.

    Their service is non-judgmental and for people of all ages, genders and orientations. Everyone is welcome, and you don’t need to see a GP first.

    Umbrella services are delivered by University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust in partnership with other organisations and providers across the region.
